Solicitor - Group Litigation - 3-5 PQE

We are currently recruiting for a talented Solicitor to work on high-profile, complex, group litigation claims against some of the world’s largest corporations represented by Magic Circle firms. You will be working alongside some of the industry’s top performing experts in their field and working on cases receiving national media attention.

Duties will include:

• Assisting on high-profile, complex, group litigation claims against some of the world’s largest corporations represented by Magic Circle firms.
• Investigation of potential claims, producing memos for the Head of Department, instructing counsel and liaising with third party funders.
• Providing the highest level of client care in the management of client matters
• Overseeing financial aspects of matters including time recording, and debtor management in order to achieve your personal fee budget
• Building relationships with internal and external parties
• Ensuring that files are managed effectively, meeting set deadlines, complying with precedents, letters or documents on the case management system
• Where required you will also delegate work to more junior fee earners and legal support staff to ensure work is completed in a timely manner and court, or other, deadlines are adhered to
• Participating, with other senior fee earners in marketing activities including networking

About you:

• Knowledge and experience of group actions, high volume disclosure and the litigation process 
• The ability to liaise effectively with multiple parties/representatives involved in the action
• Strong written communication skills
• Pro-active, organised, results driven individual comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent academics and training
• Experience of court proceedings
• Excellent relationship and client handling skills
• Motivation and desire to continuously develop own technical expertise
• A willingness to support others and be a strong team player
• An adaptable approach and the ability to foster a culture of positive change
