Due to an internal promotion we are looking to recruit a cost legal assistant based in our Manchester team. You will provide vital support to the costs fee earners in a busy fast paced, but friendly and supportive team.

Responsibilities to include;

• Preparing document bundles for the formal and informal service
• Ensuring all CMS information is accurate, complete and up to date
• Preparing and file requests for assessment hearings
• Collating documents to support court applications and assessment hearing bundles
• Preparing and file requests for default costs certificates
• Preparing and distribute settlement packs
• Logging new instructions and liaising with teams regarding allocation

About You;

• Strong interest in a legal career
• Efficient time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills
