If you are an experienced insurance claims handler with excellent Customer Service skills and a strong business insight. We are currently looking for an individual to join our Claims Management Team based in our Dorking office.

Let’s tell you a bit more about the role…

As a Claims Management Specialist, you will proactively manage claims administered by the company, providing the financial security and support to enable our customers to focus on recovery whilst developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within and outside the company.

Your ability to build relationships will be invaluable in the investigating and communicating of claims in a timely and appropriate manner. You will investigate all claims, reaching a decision as to initial liability and continued validity through the application of medical knowledge and the accurate interpretation of policy documentation.  Identify and obtain all information necessary to the validation of each claim.

You will work closely with the Customer Care rehabilitation team in promoting and assisting claimants returning to work.

Using your awareness of customer expectations and by adhering to the principles of ‘Treating Customer Fairley’ you will provide the highest level of service while achieving our service standards.

  • Experience of handling insurance claims on behalf of brokers and end customers
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Team player – willing to help and support fellow Claims Management Specialists
  • Work co-operatively within the team and department in achieving service standards
  • Graduate level of qualification
  • Self-management and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to build relationships and show empathy to all customers
