About the Golf Course Machinery Mechanic Job

We are looking for an NVQ level 3 qualified mechanic or equivalent to join the team as Golf Course Machinery Mechanic. Here are the key skills and experience we are looking for:

·         Maintaining Toro, Jacobsen and John Deere machinery. 

·         Ability to set and maintain cutting units and be familiar with Bernard Grinders. 

·         You’ll understand hydraulic systems and wiring looms and be able to problem solve in a logical and practical manor. 

·         Carry out major repairs to a high standard and have welding experience. 

·         Maintain service records and operate within budgets.

·         Work with the Course Manager and as part of the wider green keeping team.

·         A clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to tow a trailer using one of the works trucks.
