The Role
As a Drainage Engineer you will be carrying out emergency drain clearances and planned maintenance and CCTV surveys. All new Drainage Engineers will be trained in: manual handling, abrasive wheel, high pressure water jetting, confined spaces, SHEA water, working at heights, signing, lighting and guarding and Spartan electro machining. As a drainage engineer you will always work in a safe way in line with health and safety standards and with a positive attitude towards safe working.
You will be provided with all tools and equipment to be able to complete the tasks set out to you. The work is based across the Kent and East Sussex area and you will be required to work 1 in 5 weeks on call which includes weekends and unsociable hours as it’s a 24hr service. For on call hours you are paid extra which can be discussed at interview.
All Engineers will be required to complete a full DBS and Credit Check and must have a full UK Driving Licence
