The Financial Planning Analyst Job

Part of the Business Finance team, this role supports the Finance Business Partners in providing high quality, timely and accurate financial reporting and data driven analytical support to the business. It’s a role where your analytical and reporting skills will be tested so you will need to be confident with data, numbers and using tools like Excel to produce high quality reports for the Finance Business Partners.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Preparation and presentation of financial data.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence and complete the monthly reporting deliverables to the required deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with preparation of information
  • Provide insightful analysis as required and Investigate and explain variances to forecast (month), plan (year to date) and prior year.
  • Support the preparation and interpretation of financial plans and forecasts
  • Ability to communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure, displaying positive attitude as a team player
  • Either Accountancy or Finance Graduate, CIMA / ACCA part qualified and or AAT Qualifications
