About the Company

Strukta are a growing family owned and manged builders’ merchant with 7 depots across the south and the head office operation based in Andover.

The Andover head office is a newly refurbished modern building including features such as ping pong table in the breakout area and even a slide from the 1^st to ground floor.

About the driver role

Working as a delivery driver for a building supplies business you will be delivering customer orders to locations in the local area as well as other depots across the region. You will need your CPC certificate and have some experience of tachographs; vehicle checks and vehicle health and safety.

You will need to be physically fit and happy lifting as you will help customers unload deliveries. Some forklift experience would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

As a small business you may also be required to help the team out in the Warehouse so you will be a team player who is happy to muck in and help when we are busy.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous Driving Experience of 7.5ton vehicles of vans
• CPC certificate and experience of using a tachograph
• Happy lifting and assisting with loading and unloading vans
• Excellent customer service
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and health & safety
• Some experience of using a forklift would be an advantage but not essential
• Knowledge of building materials and supplies helpful but not essential as you can learn this quickly
