About the role:
Keyloop are looking for a talented Network & DNS Engineer, within their Architecture and Engineering team, who will be responsible for network architecture, engineering, standards, solution consulting and escalated support of network and security infrastructure.
The team’s primary role is to engineer networks and solutions within and between the hosting environments, Associate (Employee) sites, supported customer premises and public cloud.
This role requires an experienced and talented network design engineer, and has specific focus on DNS architecture and engineering, in addition to assumed knowledge and expertise in the areas of routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, and firewall skills.
In this role, you will work as part of global team, and in partnership with platform and software teams, so you should be an excellent communicator who is able to provide consulting for major/complex customer and internal business projects. We’d also like you to have hands-on experience on the design and implementation of DNS and network infrastructures in datacentres, employee sites, public cloud and in support of customer deployments.

What we are looking for:
We're looking for someone with in-depth experience in key DNS technologies and standards (BIND, Microsoft, Big-IP, etc), including integration with IPAM platforms, for example Proteus, SolarWinds.
This is a crucial phase for the company, so we are looking for dynamism, strong input, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in operations and engineering roles managing networks infrastructure and services.
You won’t be afraid of new ideas or technologies and people who can bring an alternative viewpoint to the table. You'll have an idea of how to solve a problem and be confident presenting your point of view to team members and stakeholders alike and be able to reach a consensus.

Good knowledge, understanding and experience is expected of the following :
In addition, you will have a BSc, Associate Degree or HND in Electronics/Communication/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. A formal Cisco certification at a level of CCNP or CCIE is preferred. However most important is a demonstrable and deep understanding of network protocols and services, and their application in large and complex business environments.
