If so, we are looking for confident individuals to join the Sales team of a fantastic IT Distributor based in Reading.

About the role

As a business development executive your focus will be on developing relationships with warm/hot clients, driving creative ideas into your account base is vital in maximising growth. Your role will be mapping and targeting your accounts through pro-active calls and applying your tenacity to ensure that your individual KPI’s are met along with hitting sales targets. Whilst this is an inside based role, you will have the opportunity to meet clients face to face intermittently.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • To achieve commercial targets
  • Deliver accurate weekly forecasting/pipeline.
  • Proactively follow up all opportunities and bids
  • Build an impactful relationship with customers vendor AMs to enable visibility of deals sooner and provide joint influence in the account.
  • Prepare detail for quarterly 121s to track performance and development.
  • Drive margin betterment in account base
  • Feedback on customer challenges/aspirations
  • Growing the account base through strategic and pro-active calls
  • Building professional relationships with your accounts and a strong understanding of your account base, to complete accurate account maps
  • Own relationships with the customers sales & purchasing teams to achieve maximum SOW, maximisation of deals & product adoption plan.

 

In line with the current working environment and restrictions, Westcoast are welcoming people back into the office where possible and safe to do so. Currently work will be split on a rota basis (1 week in office, 1 week home working). Going forward you will work in the Westcoast Theale office, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5.45pm.
