If so, we are looking for confident individuals to join the Enterprise and B2B Account Management teams of a fantastic IT Distributor based in Reading. About the role

 

The sales teams look after small to medium size business right through to some of the largest resellers across the UK. Working with these accounts can be demanding – the teams work at a fast pace and are used to managing a busy workload. In this high-volume Inbound account management role you will manage the day-to-day requirements from your account base with the aim of delivering increased revenue and profitability across the accounts.

 

You will manage all inbound opportunities from your assigned account base, responding to all quote requests with the aim of increasing revenue opportunities and lines per quote.

 

You will build a strong understanding of your accounts to deliver growth within both revenue and profit as well as uncovering any significant opportunities that can be capitalised on, communicating these to our National account managers. Your role will also include identifying customer inefficiencies and work with our sales operations team to make improvements.

 

Your vendor product set will include mobile phones, tablets and computing devices along with mobile solutions, accessories and airtime.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build professional and productive business relationships with your account base via email and telephone
  • Respond to all quote requests from your account base, identifying opportunities to increase lines per quote and overall revenue and profit
  • Manage customer expectations around pricing, stock availability and lead times
  • Manage the roll out of bill and hold agreements across your account base where applicable
  • Work with your National Account Manager colleagues to capitalise on significant opportunities uncovered within your accounts
  • Work with the Sales operations team to improve customer inefficiencies, overall business processes, customer service issues and queries
  • Keeping up to date and informed on all new products, services, and sales tools

 

In line with the current working environment and restrictions, Data Select are welcoming people back into the office where possible and safe to do so. Currently work will be split on a rota basis (1 week in office, 1 week home working). Going forward you will work in their Theale-based office, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5.45pm.

 

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Previous experience in either a sales or high-volume administration/customer service environment
  • Knowledge or a keen interest in IT, mobile or technology would be beneficial
  • A proactive approach to account management
  • A high level of organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalism
  • Entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the drive to exceed targets
  • Embraces collaboration and celebrates success
  • A willingness to learn and motivation to continuously develop your industry knowledge
