An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Local Offer Development Officer to join the team. Southampton City Council and Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group have identified that the current SEND Local Offer requires improvement to make it accessible and meaningful to parents and carers. The website will act as a single point to help parents and carers know what is available to support their child 0-25 years of age. The post holder will be working with the parent carer forum and wider stakeholders to understand what additional opportunities there are for getting information out to parents, carers and young people.

Above all, we want someone who shares in our values.  These are:

  • Treating people as individuals with dignity, being Person Centred.
  • Working Together as a team, with Trust and Respect for each other and for the families we support
  • Taking Pride and Passion in the difference we make to families and finding the Fun and Celebration in everything that we do
