About the Business
A leading car finance lender, Go Car Credit were established to help provide finance to buy a car for those who may not be able to obtain credit from a high street bank.
They have provided loans for over 100,000 customers so far and are growing very quickly. They understand that anyone could have problems acquiring credit via a traditional lender, so pride themselves on being different from the traditional banks and payday loan companies by working with customers and understanding their individual circumstances.
Let’s tell you a bit more about the role…
Go Car’s customers are just like any of us – they are friends, neighbours, aunties, and uncles. The business core behaviours ensure they are responsible and treat customers fairly, supportively, and that they’re always straightforward with them. Therefore, as well as collections experience, a drive to work with customers is key and for those who have the skills to achieve both of those things, there is a role for you at Go Car Credit.
Every day will be a fresh challenge you will be responsible for managing the collections process from the beginning to the end, recovering arrears via telephone and email and rehabilitating customers through agreeing payment arrangements whilst maintaining our agreement in accordance with FCA guidelines.
We’re looking for outstanding individuals with experience of working consumer collections in a regulated environment - ideally sub-prime hire-purchase motor finance, although we are open to transferrable experience in other regulated environments or with other types of finance.
You must be IT literate and have good numeracy and communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Resilience and rapport-building are also key skills for the role.
Normal shift patterns are shortened at the moment to 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, with initial training in their COVID-secure office but homeworking largely in place for the time being. When normality resumes the shifts will be Monday – Friday, between 8am – 8pm and include some weekend work (9am-5pm).
