The  Role

You will work in the fast-paced and lively customer acquisitions team to help customers secure the car they are looking for. You will process customer applications for credit as well as talking customers through the buying process and assessing their income and expenditure to ensure they can afford the finance.

Additionally, you will update systems and liaise with car dealerships to ensure buying a car is a smooth and enjoyable process, from beginning to end.

This role includes lots of verbal and written communication with customers as well as video calls with car buyers to confirm their identity. You will also update and maintain records using various systems and ensure our high compliance standards are maintained.

This role offers a mixture of home and office working with a 2/3 day split available once training is completed.

 

The working hours will be 37.5 across five days of the week. Go Car Credit operate between 9am and 7pm, Monday to Friday including bank holidays and Saturdays 9am – 5pm, so you will be expected to be available to work shifts within these hours.

 

The right Customer Acquisitions Agent

Go Car are looking for a passionate and motivated person with the ability to be versatile and willing to learn, who will help their customers throughout their buying processes.

  • Confident, proactive, and passionate, resilient and have a great attitude and work ethic
  • Enjoy talking to customers, building rapport with empathy and have a genuine desire to help people, sometimes in challenging situations
  • Professional telephone manner or all-round verbal and written communication skills
  • Are you IT literate, with good numeracy and a keen eye for detail?
  • Do you like to be busy, like to multitask and enjoy working in teams?

    Your work experience could include:

 

  • A telephone-based role in either a call centre or contact centre.
  • Customer service or sales adviser type role. 
  • Customer-facing retail, hospitality, leisure, or sales.
  • Customer administration support.
  • Subprime hire-purchase motor finance, other regulated environments, or other types of finance
