Customer Collections Agent - Warrington 

Hybrid working (Home and Office) 

£24,000- £28,000 depending on experience + Bonus + Excellent Benefits - OTE up to £30,400

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm on a weekly rotation.

9am -1pm every other last Saturday of the month and every other Bank Holiday – these can be worked from home

We are looking for a Customer centered candidate who has Financial Services experience, whether that be face to face or over the phone to join our lively Collections team at Go Car Credit in Birchwood Park, Warrington.

What we do?

At Go Car Credit we are specialists in helping people secure finance who may have been declined by other lenders. We want to help our customers get back on the road to better credit. The primary focus is ethical and responsible lending and treating customers fairly, which forms our core values.

We want to provide those with impaired credit profiles the green light to enable them to walk on to a dealer’s forecourt with confidence, helping them get behind the wheel in no time.

The Role:

Our Customer Care Agents are the main point of contact for our customers who may experience financial difficulties. They handle inbound customer calls, dealing with a range of queries, as well as taking payments, managing complaints and assisting with payment-related questions. You will also make outbound calls relating to outstanding payments and to discuss payment plans for customers in financial difficulties. Detailed training will be provided.

 

You will help our customers understand their financial and legal obligations and always have ‘treating customers fairly’ at the forefront of your mind.

Day to day:

  • Responsible for managing the collections process from beginning to end
  • Recovering arrears via telephone and email
  • Agreeing payment arrangements for customers Maintaining agreements in accordance with FCA guidelines

This role currently offers a mixture of home and office working. The volume of days worked rom home may change to suit business needs. 

 

The right Customer Care Agent in Collections

Go Car are looking for a passionate, motivated, and resilient Agent who can be versatile and willing to learn, someone who will help their customers throughout their agreement life cycle.

  • Confident, proactive, and passionate, resilient and have a great attitude and work ethic
  • Enjoy talking to customers, building rapport with empathy and have a genuine desire to help people, sometimes in challenging situations
  • Professional telephone manner or all-round verbal and written communication skills
  • PC literate, with good numeracy and a keen eye for detail
  • Able to multitask and enjoy working in a team environment
    Essential:
  • A good listener who can convey empathy, patience and understanding
  • Confidence in overcoming customer objections and having difficult conversations
  • Able to gather facts, ask appropriate questions and evaluate the information provided to ensure a fair outcome for the customer
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high volumes of inbound and outbound telephone calls
  • Driven to achieve targets

Desired:

  • Previous Collections and/or Customer Service experience
  • Experience working in the Financial Services sector
  • Experience working in a Call Centre
  • Experience working in a regulated environment

We will consider retail and hospitality backgrounds as well as previous office-based experience.
