Met Serve Ltd is a Plumbing & Heating company that trades as Dyno Plumbing in SW London, Surrey, Sussex, Middlesex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

With a Field Operation of over 110 Engineers and offices in Reigate (Head Office) and Basingstoke the Company has seen significant growth before and after the pandemic.
As part of that growth we have restructured our Field Operation to include Field Managers who we trust to support and lea dour Engineers on a day to day basis.

 

Job Summary

This role is primarily to lead and manage an Area of our Field Operations. As a Field Manager you will be the key link between the Management in the Office and our Team in the Field. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager Your duties include the Management, Training and Leadership of those Engineers in your Area. Closely working with your line manager and other members of the Management team in ensuring the Field operates as efficiently as possible.

You will be part of a team of Field Managers, working with the Company Management team, responsible for all aspects of H & S, performance delivery, people management, vehicle utilisation and ensure adherence to budgetary limits for equipment and consumables.

 

Field Manager Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: You will also be responsible for ensuring your District are meeting the Companies Health and Safety standards, reporting there stop and thinks and they are all working safely, including reporting Health & Safety issues and related matters as required.
  • Identifying Training needs and scheduling a training plan onsite training or utilising our training room at the office.
  • Appraisal / Review and probation meetings
  • Traveling to customer sites and evaluating Field Representatives on site audits
  • Generating reports that highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each Field Representative, and highlighting a plane to develop their weaknesses.
  • Helping employees to improve and tracking employee progress on KPIs through on-site assessments and the use of power BI.
  • Submitting generated reports, on site audits, merchandise spend, revenue generation.
  • Maintaining all field rules and responsibilities and ensuring Field Representatives adhere to the rules.
  • Responding to all on-call tasks and supporting the Field Representatives under your supervision.
  • Scheduling maintenance and repair for fleet vehicles that adheres to the fleet vehicle policy.
  • Reacting and supporting in any technical enquires or needs

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • A strong track record of successfully managing and developing a team; ideally a Field based team with at least 15 direct reports
  • A proven ability to communicate with all strongly with all elements and levels of a medium sized business
  • A qualification related to the Plumbing and Heating Industry (Preferable)
  • A Health & Safety Qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH (Preferable)
  • Strong Computer Skills and analysing data – notably stats based on individual and team performance
  • A positive mentality is a must. A significant aspect our selectin process is based on Attitude

 

Salary and Benefits

  • A Basic Salary of between £38,000 and £42,00 depending on experience and qualifications
