Business Improvement Apprentice – Hungerford

The business improvement team at CDK support the helpdesk function of the business by analysing, designing and improving workflows and processes which in turn delivers better service and value to the companies customers. The Apprentice role would provide full support to this team and be a valued team member in the projects being worked on. Training given in this role was focused on technical support, analysis and documentation skills alongside a formal NVQ Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. Ideal candidate would be GCSE or A-Level leavers with a keen interest in technology and IT. The Salary for this role was £14,500.

Our role in this process was to support the internal Recruitment team at CDK with a whole host of Attraction, Engagement, Assessment and process management tasks. CDK attracted lots of applicants for the role through there own website so we were tasked with screening these people using a standard competency based telephone interview. We also sourced additional candidates from the CV Databases to supplement the pool of people who had applied to the job adverts on the CDK careers site. We were asked to talk to candidates about CDK and the business so candidates could better understand what ty[pe of business they were and the opportunity on offer by working for them. We presented the best candidates to CDK and managed the arrangement of interviews and assessments which resulted in the hire of an excellent candidate. Alongside the hire we also gave them a talent pool of other candidates who would be great options for a couple of other apprentice roles awaiting sign off.
