Kenda offers customised solutions and special products for the Electricity Supply Industry including hardware, software and panel building using their comprehensive range of Metering Data Collection Equipment. Kenda also offers a range of high quality Instrumentation for Data Acquisition and Recording as well as a subcontract design and manufacturing service for custom electronic products and OEM production of special interfaces.

 

The Role:

• Lead and motivate a team of production staff including; training, guidance and performance feedback
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times – promoting a culture of workplace safety
• Preparing reports on production performance that encompasses key metrics such as; budget, output, quality and efficiency.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.
• Monitor production processes to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce cost.
• Organise the repair and maintenance/ replace of production tools and equipment
• Monitor and liaise with suppliers and customers regarding any quality issues.
• Select, purchase and verify components and materials. Monitoring compliance with quality control standards.

 

What we are looking for:

• IOSH or NEBOSH.
• A management qualification is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with a problem solving approach.
• Innovative and remains up to date with industry trends.
