Are you a sole trader or self-employed Plumber with a recognised qualification? (NVQ level 2 

or equivalent)  

Are you looking for an upskill training opportunity in renewable heat pump energy solutions? ​

 

  

If so, we are hiring multiple Plumbers / Plumbing Engineers on a contract basis with 

immediate starts available to support the Renewables Heating Installation Team. ​

 

This is your opportunity to gain exposure and experience with renewable technology by 

being involved in a large project for the installation of Ground/Air Source Heat Pumps within 

social housing properties.​

Contractor rate of £160 per day / £800 per week 

No weekends! No Call Outs! (Monday – Friday, 5 days / 40 hours a week) 

Rapid interview process WC 18th October with immediate starts November.  

 

Full Training, Uniform, PPE, H&S equipment provided but you will need to include 

consumables, but very little i.e screws, raw plugs, flucks, solder.​

 

The Role  

Working as part of a dedicated 3-person team (1 Qualified Gas Installer and 2 Plumbers), you 

will work 40h per week (Monday-Friday only!) completing 2 full Heat pump installations per 

week.​

 

As a Plumber you will be carrying out Heating Installation, Rads on walls including rad valves, 

copper pipework, pipe from airing cupboard to heat pump. 

Full induction training is provided in regards the ground/air heat pump systems and off you 

go.  

 

What we need from you: 

 

∙Minimum of NVQ Level 2 plumbing (newly accredited will be considered) 

∙Must hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. 

∙Able to work effectively as part of a team. 

∙Demonstrates professionalism and customer service in a friendly manner. 

∙Must be confident and have good written and verbal communication skills. 

Please note that this position is subject to right to work, DBS and DVLA checks as well as 

needing public liability insurance and proof of plumbing qualifications.​
