Evening Respite Support Worker- Southampton – Flexible Hours!

Salary:  £10.50 - £12 p/h

We are looking to grow our team of people who support our children and young adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and autism. You don’t need to have previous experience in this type of work, and you don’t need any particular qualifications, as we will provide all the necessary training to develop you to your full potential.

This important role provides support to our children and young adults at home and in the community to enable well-being and independence.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Individual to come and join the team at The Rose Road Association, a Registered Charity providing essential Care and Support Services in Southampton. We are passionate about supporting children and adults with, Learning disabilities, Physical disabilities and /or Autism. 

The role:

The children and adults we support are individuals and therefore no two days are the same, as a general guide, duties will include:

  • Support with personal care needs
  • Help to take part in a wide range of interests and activities that support wellbeing and independence, such as sensory, swimming, baking, crafts, movies and much more depending on what people choose
